About the position

The Network Engineer position at a large entertainment company involves working with Cisco technologies and cloud environments. The role requires a strong background in network engineering, particularly with route/switch configurations, firewall management, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of engineering tasks, support, and project work, contributing to the company's network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Cisco network devices including Catalyst and Nexus switches.
• Manage and upgrade network configurations and ensure optimal performance.
• Handle firewall management and security protocols.
• Support LAN/WAN operations and manage VLANs/VPNs.
• Work on cloud integration and management, particularly with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in project work related to network enhancements and upgrades.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong experience with Cisco technologies and environments.
• Proficient in route/switch configurations including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Experience with firewall management and wireless networking.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
