About the position

As an IT Engineer in End User Computing II at Pathward, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of applications and infrastructure within the organization. This position requires a collaborative approach, working as part of a dedicated team to analyze data against business requirements and ensure the quality of Pathward's technology stack. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and providing support for various Information Technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for Pathward's technologies and recommending improvements to enhance performance and operational efficiency. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather necessary information and data, which will help in developing a consistent view of product performance and quality. Timely contribution to estimates on work and delivering against them will be essential to your success in this position. Additionally, you will assist other IT departments with various tasks and troubleshooting as needed, ensuring a collaborative environment. Staying current on emerging technologies is vital, as you will evaluate new industry software and infrastructure technologies to meet future expectations. Quality assurance is a key aspect of your role, as you will be responsible for testing applications and ensuring they meet the defined IT standards and guidelines. You will also build test data necessary for performing these tests and ensure that applications and infrastructure comply with security standards set by the IT department. Identifying and reporting risks to technologies will be part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining documented processes, best practices, and standards. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential traits for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for Pathward's technologies and recommends improvements.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to obtain supporting information and data to develop a consistent view of product performance, quality and operational support functions.
  • Contributes to estimates on work in a timely manner and delivers against them.
  • Assists other IT departments with tasks and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Evaluates new industry software and/or infrastructure technologies to stay current on emerging technologies and future expectations.
  • Ensures the quality of applications and/or infrastructure technologies through testing applications and following IT standards and guidelines.
  • Builds test data necessary to perform the tests.
  • Responsible for ensuring applications and/or infrastructure meet security standards as defined by IT.
  • Identifies and reports risks to technologies.
  • Understands the data as part of the technologies being supported.
  • Helps to maintain documented processes, best practices and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
