About the position

Welcome to AMN Healthcare, where your career can become the next big success story! As one of the largest and most successful healthcare staffing and total talent solutions companies, we are looking for trailblazers, innovators, and amazing people like you to join our team. The Administrator II, Network Systems & Telecom role is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX, and Boca Raton, FL, requiring two days a week in the office. This position does not provide sponsorship or H1B transfers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying networks based on business and technical requirements. You will partner with project and program managers to ensure that overall timelines are met and issues are resolved promptly. Your expertise will be crucial in operating and fixing networks to quickly identify and resolve issues. You will take a lead role in engaging and mitigating outage-causing events or issues, validating problem descriptions, performing detailed problem diagnosis, and tracking and updating problems in the trouble-ticketing system. Additionally, you will engage deeply in the sustainment function to proactively analyze network parameters such as capacity and availability to fix issues before they cause an outage. You will also review, consult, and prepare for the introduction of planned changes to the production environment, participate in a rotating "on call" schedule with other team members (including weekends), and partner with teams to plan and implement software code upgrades and device maintenance. Collaboration with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team will be essential, as you will provide mentorship and input on operational process improvements, as well as feedback to infrastructure architects on design issues or improvements for new initiatives.
