About the position

The Network Engineer III position at Ryder System Inc. involves the planning and implementation of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and remote access services. This role is critical as it serves as the third level of support for the Ryder IT Technical Service Desk, addressing any end-user or site issues that require assistance beyond the capabilities of the service desk. Comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all configurations and changes are well recorded. Additional responsibilities encompass troubleshooting and diagnosing network problems, configuring and maintaining LAN/WAN equipment, and managing MPLS, VRF, VPN, and Internet network services.
