About the position

This position is focused on network engineering within Walmart's Global Tech team, reporting to the Sr Manager of Network Reliability. The role emphasizes the importance of documentation and process creation in network engineering projects, contributing to the foundational technologies that support Walmart's tech organization. The team is responsible for ensuring a secure and seamless experience across various platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in network engineering projects, rollouts, and deployments.
• Lead the effort and creation of documented processes, procedures, and playbooks.
• Operate in a team environment with varying tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in large-scale networking environments, or 4 years' experience in large-scale networking environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences.
• Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
• CISCO Certification.
