About the position

The Network Engineer III at ActioNet plays a vital role in designing, testing, upgrading, and integrating various information networks, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, intranets, and extranets. This position is essential for ensuring that network solutions align with organizational needs while maintaining security and integrity. The engineer will document processes, coordinate network changes, and assist with troubleshooting and operational tasks for deployed networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing information networks such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, intranets, and extranets according to business requirements.
• Document all aspects of the engineering process related to network build, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate changes for new networks, upgrades, or version increments with network administrators and stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Evaluate new and emerging network technologies and make recommendations for product selection.
• Assist network administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate vendor engagements as needed.
• Provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed networks in lab or production environments.
