About the position

Join Uline as a 2025 Network Engineer Intern and gain hands-on experience working alongside IT experts to engineer custom software solutions for our growing North American company. This full-time, 12-week internship is designed for Junior-status college students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in network engineering or a related IT field. As a Network Engineer Intern, you will assist in day-to-day network operations, analysis, and troubleshooting, providing you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. You will implement and maintain new and existing sites to fit company needs, perform routine adds, moves, and changes for network ports and VLANs, and enter and manage carrier tickets for service outages. Additionally, you will analyze network traffic and utilization, reporting your findings to direct supervisors. This internship is an excellent opportunity to boost your technical skills and kick-start your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day network operations, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Open to Junior-status college students only.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in network engineering or a related IT field.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
