About the position

The Network Engineer position is focused on designing and administering network systems, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies and AWS networking services. The role requires extensive experience in network design, particularly in call center environments, and a solid understanding of networking protocols and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer network systems for optimal performance and security.
• Implement and manage AWS networking services including VPC, EC2, Route 53, ELB, NAT Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• Support call center networking requirements and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Configure and manage Cisco Meraki equipment to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Ensure compliance with security principles and best practices, including firewall configuration and VPN management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience in network design and administration.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred.
• Experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, EC2, Route 53, ELB, NAT Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• Experience in call center networking requirements and needs.
• Experience in Cisco Meraki equipment required.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of call center technologies and protocols, including SIP, RTP, and CTI.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices, including firewall configuration, VPNs, and access control.
