About the position

The Network Engineer position requires a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 15 years in network architecture and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and deliver strategic network architectural design and operational excellence.
• Design enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, VMs, and virtual networks.
• Implement and configure Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Security Software.
• Identify problem areas in scaled systems and uphold network quality.
• Drive design and implementation of network solutions based on organizational goals.
• Conduct network capacity planning and ensure adherence to security principles.
• Develop strategic plans for network infrastructure and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• Cisco Certification(s) in specialized areas required.
• 10 years of experience managing network design and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of current protocols and standards.
• Experience with IT security requirements and information security practices.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lean IT concepts.
• Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
