The Senior Network Engineer position is critical for ensuring that the network infrastructure is designed to meet the current and evolving needs of the organization. As a Global Assessment of Information Technology (GAIT) engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience in network design and architecture to craft solutions that support national defense initiatives. This role involves upgrading and developing enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and enhancing the security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical network systems. You will be responsible for analyzing existing infrastructures and implementing improvements that align with the organization's strategic goals. In this position, you will apply your expertise in various networking technologies, including routing and switching, encryption integration, and network transport layers. Your knowledge of multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocols, and virtual routing will be essential as you work alongside a team of problem-solvers dedicated to evolving and deploying new capabilities for the Department of Defense (DoD). You will also serve as a trusted advisor to clients, utilizing your technical curiosity and understanding of industry standards to optimize operations and drive modernization efforts.
