About the position

The Low Voltage Technician/Network Engineer position involves the installation, maintenance, and coordination of various low voltage systems including public address, LAN, VoIP, analog telephony, intrusion alarm, and CCTV systems. The role requires extensive experience in surveying, programming, and physically wiring these systems, as well as collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and assemble various low voltage systems such as public address, LAN, VoIP, analog telephony, intrusion alarm, and CCTV systems.
  • Survey legacy PA, PBX, and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Coordinate installation of low voltage systems with all stakeholders.
  • Program various low voltage systems as required.
  • Physically wire and test low voltage systems.
  • Plan, analyze, and coordinate site equipment requirements.
  • Clean up and remove legacy decommissioned systems.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers in establishing project priority lists.
  • Formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
  • Set priorities and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of public address, LAN, VoIP, analog telephony, intrusion alarm, and CCTV systems.
  • Experience in surveying and coordinating installation projects.
  • Ability to program low voltage systems as required.
  • Proficient in physically wiring and testing low voltage systems.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills for site equipment requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
