About The Position

The Network Engineer will work independently and as part of a cross-functional team comprised of technical experts supporting an established and growing Intelligence Community (IC) mission. This role requires the ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts, make assessments, and articulate recommendations to the customer. Previous experience working on-site to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC) is highly desirable. In your day-to-day activities, you will enable the development of system architectures and detailed system designs. You will perform work in three overlapping technical domains: defensive and offensive cyber, cloud, and data and cyber security. Providing network engineering security expertise to the customer's projects and systems will be a key responsibility. You will also develop plans and integrate user equipment with a variety of networks, supporting the team in conducting test design, anomaly resolution, system deployment, and sustainment support. Additionally, you will perform or assist in the design, development, installation, and testing of operational equipment. Conducting system anomaly troubleshooting and interfacing with vendors and mission partners to ensure systems meet the end goals of stakeholders will be essential. You will review information from multiple sources and provide technical guidance regarding network or cloud architecture when necessary. Your knowledge and analysis of wireless and wireline circuit-switched and packet-switched telecommunications networks, transmission protocols, and network technologies will be critical to the success of the projects you support.
