About the position

The Judge Group Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is a contingent resource assignment that involves consulting on and participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the Network Engineering domain. The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in contributing to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables, ensuring that all projects align with the company's strategic objectives. In this role, the Network Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing moderately complex Network Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of various factors. This includes contributing to the resolution of these challenges and consulting with other team members to meet Network Engineering deliverables. A solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements is essential for success in this position. The Network Engineer will also collaborate closely with client personnel in Network Engineering to ensure that all deliverables are met efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Internet and security technologies, including but not limited to DDOS protection, Proxy/SASE configurations, Guest Wifi management, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Firewall/Web Application Firewall setups, DNS/DHCP management, and VPN technologies. This knowledge will be critical in addressing the various challenges that arise in the Network Engineering field and in implementing effective solutions that enhance the overall network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering.
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Network Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues in Network Engineering.
  • Consult with others to meet Network Engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Network Engineering.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Internet and security technologies such as DDOS, Proxy/SASE, Guest Wifi, CDNs, Firewall/Web Application Firewall, DNS/DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience in Network Engineering and the ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex issues.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and policies related to Network Engineering.
