The Network Engineer position focuses on managing and automating network systems while utilizing Agile project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence. This hybrid role requires a strong foundation in networking and server fundamentals, along with experience in automation and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate network systems using various tools and technologies.
• Utilize Agile project management tools like JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
• Implement automation testing and scripting using Python and Jenkins.
• Ensure network security and performance by understanding and applying security technologies such as DDOS protection, firewalls, and VPNs.

Requirements

• Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong knowledge of networking and server fundamentals.
• Proficiency in automation testing and scripting, particularly with Python.
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Internet and security technologies such as DDOS, Proxy/SASE, Guest Wifi, CDN's, Firewall/Web Application Firewall, DNS/DHCP, and VPN.
