About the position

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team supporting our NGA customer in Springfield, VA. The role involves designing, developing, testing, integrating, and deploying network solutions that meet critical requirements, particularly as the current solution is at the end of its life stage. The engineer will work on creating innovative technologies and modular architectures to support a range of use cases while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, integrates, and deploys solutions for critical requirements.
• Develop new solutions to replace the current end-of-life system using innovative technologies.
• Design and deliver an enterprise-level system with a modular architecture for various use cases.
• Conduct IT activities to achieve the goal of solution development and deployment.
• Design a multi-tenant network architecture with segmentation that adheres to security standards.
• Build, configure, and maintain network solutions with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Incorporate cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and Google into network designs.
• Develop backup procedures, troubleshoot problems, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Prepare and deliver program and user-level documentation, and communicate expertise across organizational boundaries.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, with work experience able to be combined with education
• Experience in advanced network architecture and design concepts
• Ability to independently design and implement medium to large-sized network architectures.
