About the position

As a Load Balancing Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Network Engineering team, focusing on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include consulting on and participating in various projects that require a solid understanding of network engineering principles. You will contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Network Engineering deliverables, ensuring that all aspects of the network infrastructure are considered and optimized for performance and reliability. In this position, you will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing moderately complex Network Engineering challenges. This will involve an in-depth evaluation of variable factors that may impact network performance and reliability. You will also be expected to contribute to the resolution of these issues, collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to meet Network Engineering deliverables effectively. Your ability to leverage a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements will be essential in this role. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with client personnel in Network Engineering to ensure that all deliverables are met and that the network infrastructure is functioning optimally. Your expertise will be vital in guiding the team through complex challenges and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the engineering process.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering.
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Network Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Network Engineering deliverables.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Network Engineering.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years of experience with F5 and/or AVI (NSX Smart Load Balancer).
  • 3-5 years of Load Balancing experience with F5 Big IP and/or AVI NSX Smart Load Balancer.
  • 3-5 years of general network infrastructure experience.
  • Python scripting experience is a plus.
