About the position

The Network Engineer will work within the established design framework to assist RC staff in making incremental improvements that align with organizational goals. This role focuses on managing customer expectations through effective communication while performing daily work requests related to CISCO routers, switches, and Palo Firewall solutions. The position also involves contributing to documentation and collaborating with the Cisco Network Engineering team to support field services work.

Responsibilities

• Assist RC staff in making incremental improvements aligned with organizational goals.
• Perform daily work requests focusing on CISCO routers, switches, and Palo Firewall solutions.
• Manage customer expectations through clear and consistent communications.
• Update existing documentation to contribute to the culture of knowledge.
• Collaborate with the Cisco Network Engineering team to perform field services work supporting Cisco switches and Wi-Fi technology.
• Physically travel to various locations in Ramsey County to perform Cisco network-related tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with CISCO routers and switches.
• Knowledge of Palo Firewall solutions.
• Strong communication skills to manage customer expectations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Experience in updating technical documentation.
