About the position
The Network Engineer position involves senior-level responsibilities for managing network projects, including hardware requirements, design, and implementation of standards-based physical layer connectivity. The role requires expertise in complex routing protocols and Voice-over-IP implementations, particularly with Cisco Unified Communications. The engineer will also be responsible for configuring and supporting wireless systems and ensuring robust architecture design for connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Network design and configuration of OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and Static routing solutions.
- Configure and support wireless systems.
- Architecture design and systems implementation of middle-of-row to core connectivity.
- IOS layer 2 and layer 3 configuration and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or associated discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Systems Administration experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
