Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain DoD networks to support national defense operations.
  • Upgrade or develop enterprise-wide network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Analyze current network infrastructures and recommend improvements.
  • Increase security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical network systems.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects.
  • Optimize client operations and support modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with networking hardware and software.
  • Experience operating DoD Networks.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of network protocols.
  • Ability to learn code to support network automation.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with LAN and WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with switches, routers, Nexus, Unity, and firewalls.
  • Experience with engineering data, voice, and video networks.
  • Experience supporting cloud networking.
