About the position

The Network Engineer position at Robert Half in Dublin, Ohio, is a long-term contract role focused on supporting the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including managing network systems, ensuring security compliance, and providing technical support for various technologies and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of Microsoft Exchange environment or Office 365
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy within Microsoft Windows server environments
• Administer VMWare and support IIS web servers
• Handle the configuration of HP Nimble Storage and Store Once
• Maintain and manage firewalls, with experience in Palo Alto and Panarama preferred
• Showcase a solid understanding of LAN/WAN principles and protocols
• Support MS SQL Server clusters and maintain general working knowledge
• Implement and manage backup solutions, preferably with experience in VEEAM
• Ensure security certifications or PCI experience is a plus
• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Datacenter

Requirements

• Must possess a deep understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Prior experience working with Checkpoint is essential
• Proficiency in Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers is required
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is a must
• Experience in AB Testing is necessary
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies is required
• Expertise in handling Computer Hardware is essential
• Experience in Configuration Management is a must
• Proficiency in managing Datacenter is required
• Must be able to work in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry
• Prior experience in the role of a Network Engineer is preferred.
