About the position

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting network solutions across various technologies, ensuring the stability and efficient operation of network systems. This role involves advanced support for escalated network issues, developing network design specifications, and deploying network solutions for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support to Tier-2 and Tier-3 for escalated network issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Develop comprehensive network design specifications and architecture plans that meet business needs and industry standards.
• Install, configure, and deploy network solutions for various projects and technological enhancements.
• Handle complex IP routing and protocols, including IPsec, DNS, VoIP, QoS, and MPLS, to ensure optimal network performance.
• Maintain patch levels and configuration management using automation tools and product-specific software.
• Operate in multivendor environments working with routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive proven experience in network design and hands-on support of enterprise IP networks.
• Strong understanding of compliance rules to keep systems secure by resolving vulnerabilities and documenting false positives.
• Experience with Agile Methodology, familiar with working in environments driven by Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient technically with a deep understanding of business unit networks and device configurations.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Ansible, Python, and PowerShell for automation tasks.
