About the position

The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the enterprise-level infrastructure of a large banking company. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team of network engineers to ensure the network operates at peak efficiency, focusing on Cisco networking, LAN optimization, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of network engineers to monitor and maintain the network infrastructure.
• Optimize LAN and WAN performance to ensure efficient operations.
• Implement and uphold network security best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the network team.
• Utilize Cisco products, including Catalyst and Nexus, for network management.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Cisco products, including routing, switching, firewalls, and security.
• Experience in an enterprise-level environment supporting LAN and WAN networks.
• Proven experience in maintaining and monitoring large-scale networks.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field or relevant technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.).
• Experience with cloud networking.
