Insight Global is seeking an entry-level Network Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Network Operations Center team for one of our largest utility clients. This individual will primarily perform the role of Incident Agent, utilizing monitoring tools to respond to alerts that impact the environment. The role involves performing initial triage and determining system faults and performance issues, as well as creating incident tickets and assigning them to the appropriate Incident Assignee group. In addition to these responsibilities, the individual may also take on the role of Incident Assignee and/or Incident Analyst, managing trouble tickets, troubleshooting, resolving, assigning, and escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution and response. It is essential for the candidate to retain ownership of incidents until they are fully resolved and closed. The position requires the ability to work diverse schedules in a 24x7, 365-day environment, including participation in an on-call rotation.
