About the position

The Network Engineer position at Innova Solutions is a contract role focused on maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and managing various networking technologies, ensuring efficient operation of LAN/WAN systems, and staying updated with the latest networking practices. This role requires a strong technical background in networking protocols and hands-on experience with Cisco and Riverbed technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to SD WAN, LAN segmentation, and various Cisco devices.
• Implement and manage Internet VPNs, ensuring remote connectivity and security.
• Monitor network performance using diagnostic and analytics tools.
• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a network administrator role.
• Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on SD WAN, LAN segmentation, Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless Access Points, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Routers, and Riverbed Bandwidth Optimizers.
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS and Cisco IOS).
• Deep understanding of Networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field.
• Professional certification, such as CCNA or CCDA.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in 24x7 shifts.
