About the position

The Network Engineer position is responsible for managing and executing IT projects in alignment with ITIL processes. This role involves serving as the primary project manager and technical lead, ensuring effective communication and documentation of client needs, and adapting to changing project requirements. The engineer will collaborate with various business units to assess technology needs and impacts, conduct testing, and create training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and effective execution of projects in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Develop and provide project plans, progress reports, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary project manager and/or technical lead for projects.
• Collaborate with business units to assess software and hardware requirements.
• Work alongside each department to evaluate how software updates, enhancements, and new modules will impact operations within the department and the credit union.
• Communicate and document client needs, issues, and internal requirements when relevant, and provide follow-up feedback to stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough testing and documentation of all updates, enhancements, and new modules.
• Create training documentation for all software.
• Generate and revise internal reports.
• Show the ability to learn, understand, and implement new technologies.
• Adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to project adjustments and changes.

Requirements

• Experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
• Background in Financial Services.
