Responsibilities

• Participate in networking design implementation and assessment
• Virtual networking design, implementation, and assessment
• Multi-cloud networking design, implementation, and assessment
• Design and implementation of firewalls and security policies
• Troubleshooting of physical networks, virtual networks, VPNs, and other network components
• Disaster recovery design, implementation, and assessment
• Intrusion detection design, implementation, and assessment
• Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity risks and mitigations
• Participate in incident response in coordination with District Incident Response Team
• Participate in defining low voltage requirements for construction projects
• Implement and maintain wireless networks
• Perform tier 4 customer support
• Coordinate with stakeholders
• Product assessment and procurement
• Perform installation, maintenance, and assessment of networking hardware
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures
• Make recommendations to leadership
• Maintain expert knowledge of network technology
• Perform installation, maintenance, and assessment of networking software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Current CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification
• Three years of professional experience in installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise-level local and wide-area networks
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds
