About the position

Superlanet is currently seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in support of a healthcare organization located in Coachella Valley, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity that requires the candidate to work onsite. The primary responsibility of the Network Engineer will be to plan, design, implement, and support the corporate and client Cisco LAN/WAN networks. This includes a focus on various critical areas such as VPN, VoIP, Internet Connectivity, Network Security, and wireless technologies. The Network Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of network operations, which are essential for the healthcare services provided by our clients. In this role, the Network Engineer will be tasked with analyzing and optimizing all network infrastructures, including WAN, Internet, LAN, Remote Access, and Security. The engineer will be responsible for designing, standardizing, and implementing network and telecommunications services that utilize voice, data, and multimedia technologies. This position requires a proactive approach to network management, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and securely to support the healthcare organization's needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, implement, and support corporate and client Cisco LAN/WAN networks.
  • Manage and optimize VPN, VoIP, Internet Connectivity, Network Security, and wireless technologies.
  • Analyze and standardize network infrastructures including WAN, Internet, LAN, Remote Access, and Security.
  • Design and implement network and telecommunications services utilizing voice, data, and multimedia technologies.
  • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of network operations for healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in network design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and protocols.
  • Experience with VPN, VoIP, Internet Connectivity, and Network Security.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize network infrastructures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking credentials.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment or with healthcare-related technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
