About the position

The Network Engineer position involves leading the design, development, and testing of large-scale network infrastructure. This role requires providing consultation and support to organizations and clients, resolving complex network issues, and recommending solutions based on thorough assessments of network performance and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead network design, development, and testing activities for large-scale network infrastructure.
• Provide consultation, support, and guidance to organizations and clients.
• Lead the resolution of complex network problems.
• Recommend voice, video, and data network solutions based on assessments of current and future network performance.
• Perform cost analyses and vendor comparisons to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Measure feasibility of various approaches and make recommendations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and routing/switching.
• Understanding of network architecture including proxy devices, PAC file configuration, and browser setup.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment and systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting network issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in developing network solutions to meet customer requirements.
