About the position
The Network Engineer position at Robert Half involves building and optimizing network systems, focusing on both local and wide area networks. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage the transition to cloud services and ensure the performance and security of network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of the LAN and WAN infrastructure, including Aruba switches, Clearpass, Airwaves, and FortiGate
- Lead the transition to Azure, including building tunnels and managing the ongoing migration of O365
- Multitask across various areas of network engineering
- Monitor and maintain network servers within a VMWare environment
- Manage VDOMs and contribute to the rebuilding of the entire network to align with CI security controls
- Build servers and demonstrate a solid understanding of SQL Servers
- Participate in an on-call schedule, rotating days to ensure consistent network support
- Navigate major changes, including the overhaul of the system and rebuilding from scratch.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using Aruba for network management
- Experience in using FortiGate for network security
- Proficient in using Azure Active Directory for identity and access management
- Knowledge in VMware for virtualization and cloud computing
- Experience in managing VMware Infrastructure
- Ability to handle Network servers effectively
- Proficiency in SQL Server for managing and storing data.
