About the position

The Network Engineer position at Scientific Research Corporation involves evaluating and remediating potential security risks, providing operations and customer support for various services, and maintaining critical network components. The position also includes working with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IPS), remote desktop gateways (RDG), and various security solutions such as the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Host Based Security System (HBSS). The engineer will also manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP). The role requires a strong technical background, with a minimum of ten years of experience in relevant fields such as technology analysis, systems architecture, and logistics support for C5ISR requirements. Candidates should also have at least five years of technical experience in cyber engineering, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The position is critical for ensuring the security and efficiency of the network systems used by the U.S. government, and as such, candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess a U.S. government security clearance at the secret level. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science.
  • Ten years of experience in relevant technical fields including technology analysis, systems architecture, and logistics support for C5ISR requirements.
  • Five years of technical experience in cyber engineering, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Recognized expert with demonstrated leadership in Information Technology services.
