About the position

The Network Engineer position is responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems to support the next-generation workspace. This role requires a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on routing, switching, VPNs, and security. The engineer will work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure optimal network performance and adherence to security policies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement network configurations and designs that support the next-generation workspace.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating as needed.
  • Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the planning and provisioning of new network infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to network security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a focus on routing, switching, VPNs, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment, including firewalls.
  • Ability to analyze complex network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Networking) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) concepts and technologies.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
