About the position
The Sr Network Engineer position is focused on designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network systems, particularly in data center environments. The role requires extensive experience with Cisco networking equipment and protocols, as well as a strong understanding of security measures and VPN technologies. This position is critical for ensuring high availability and performance of network services.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions for data centers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing protocols and high availability.
- Manage and configure Cisco Nexus 9K and ISR/ASR routers.
- Implement and maintain security measures using Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Ensure optimal performance of network services through QoS and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or Information Systems.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K and ISR/ASR routers.
- Strong experience with designing and troubleshooting Datacenter Networks using EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Strong understanding of Cisco AnyConnect VPN and Palo Alto Networks.
- Experience in managing switched and routed data networks in a multi-platform environment.
- Knowledge of VMware and SD-WAN technologies.
- Cisco CCNP certification.
