The Network Engineer will be responsible for networking, including telephony, VoIP, and videoconferencing (VTC), across the headquarters building and field sites. This role is part of a larger Network team responsible for leading projects crafting, implementing, and maintaining our global WAN/LAN network infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. This is an exciting position that supports a mission-critical program with high visibility and a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale efforts to execute deployment, maintenance, and operations of data networks. This includes experience with common network devices such as switches, routers, and patch panels, as well as videoconferencing endpoints, core VTC equipment, VoIP implementation, and telephony. Specific products used in this role include Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Meeting Server. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or have five years of network engineering experience that may be substituted for a degree. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of network services and systems, including TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.
