About the position

The Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the company's enterprise-grade network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol devices, multilayer switches, network security devices, and network management systems. The position demands extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-class networks and some managerial and project management skills, particularly with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Aruba devices, as well as WAN connectivity via IPSec, MPLS, and Azure Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage network infrastructure consisting of Palo Alto, Cisco, Sonic, and Aruba devices
• Help improve LAN/WAN/WLAN architecture for maximum performance, capacity, and scalability
• Implement appropriate network management and monitoring systems achieving zero downtime
• Install and configure firewalls, switches, wireless, and other networking devices
• Automate repetitive networking tasks and monitor their effectiveness
• Implement network security measures per business requirements
• Conduct network performance and integrity tests; generate reports
• Help develop and implement network disaster recovery plans
• Timely resolve escalated network-related support issues
• Develop and maintain complete technical documentation
• Interact with business partners providing network engineering support
• Ability to execute multiple projects, meeting hard deadlines

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-class networks
• Advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol devices
• Experience with multilayer switches and network security devices
• Familiarity with network management systems
• Some managerial and project management skills
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Aruba networking devices
• Knowledge of WAN connectivity via IPSec, MPLS, and Azure Infrastructure
