The Network Management Section under Infrastructure Reliability Engineering Chapter is responsible for data and voice services infrastructure for Roche. The Data Network Team is tasked with deploying data network infrastructure and solutions to support Roche and its affiliates. This team ensures that new solutions are deployed in a timely manner, adhering to engineered standards to meet service levels and customer expectations. The Network Engineer will be based in Pleasanton, CA, and will play a crucial role in the Connectivity Product Line's integrated network services. The candidate will collaborate with relevant Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver network services to stakeholders effectively. In this role, the Network Engineer will work within the Integrated Informatics products and engage with both local and virtual teams, managing variable workloads and flexible working hours. The position requires collaboration with internal parties and external providers for various projects, escalations, and problem resolutions. The successful candidate will implement and maintain solutions based on Roche's engineering standards, ensuring that the network infrastructure is configured, monitored, and maintained according to global standards and procedures, all while adhering to service level agreements. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for updating documentation related to network operations and procedures as necessary.
