About the position

As a Network Engineer at Mark Anthony Group, you will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting the organization's network infrastructure. Utilizing your expertise in network protocols, hardware, and software, you will ensure the network operates reliably and efficiently. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strengthen network security. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). You will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues will be essential to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Additionally, you will provide support for systems at remote office locations and be available for after-hours on-call support outside of regular working hours. You will also configure and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Provide support for systems at remote office locations.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support and be available outside of regular working hours.
  • Configure and manage network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of network and server infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and server systems.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Networking is required.
  • Understanding of network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, and Routing, as well as server operating systems.
  • 5+ years of network-related experience.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments and integrating cloud network solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or certifications preferred.
