About the position

The Network Engineer position involves participating in network engineering initiatives, focusing on load balancing tasks and projects. The role requires identifying process improvements and resolving network issues while providing support to personnel on network engineering matters. This is a contract position based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Participate in network engineering initiatives of low to moderate complexity.
• Identify and recommend process improvements within the Network Engineering domain.
• Research, evaluate, and propose solutions for basic to tactical network engineering challenges.
• Contribute to resolving moderately complex network issues.
• Develop an understanding of network engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information and support to Wells Fargo personnel on network engineering matters.
• Focus specifically on load balancing tasks and projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Network Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 1-3 years of experience in F5 Big IP or AVI (NSX Smart Load Balancer).
