About the position

Infosys is seeking a Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Routing and Switching to provide network WAN/LAN design, implementation, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco or Aruba technologies, and experience with Juniper or equivalent systems is also valuable. This position requires the candidate to be located within commuting distance of one of the specified locations: Portland, OR; Tempe, AZ; Richardson, TX; Hartford, CT; Indianapolis, IN; or Raleigh, NC, and candidates must be willing to relocate if necessary. The role may involve travel within the United States, and candidates should be prepared to work in the PST time zone. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of Information Technology experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Cisco routing and switching or Aruba. Familiarity with DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management) and AAA/Cisco ISE is essential. The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, and effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in Network Automation using Python and Ansible, as well as skills in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). Documentation skills are also important, along with experience in Zscaler and Network Security. A desire to work in a global delivery environment is beneficial, as Infosys operates in over 50 countries, helping clients navigate their digital transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide network WAN/LAN design and implementation.

• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients via various channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Cisco routing and switching or Aruba.
• Experience in DDI, AAA/Cisco ISE.
• Willingness to work in the PST time zone.
