About the position

As a Network Engineer at Tanisha Systems, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports our diverse client base across various industries. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance of network systems, which are vital for our operations. You will work closely with other IT professionals to develop and implement robust network security measures, ensuring that our clients' data and systems are protected against potential threats. In this position, you will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving network issues, which requires a deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. You will also be responsible for conducting regular maintenance and updates to network hardware and software, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently. Documentation will be a key part of your role, as you will need to maintain accurate records of network configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate smooth operations and knowledge sharing within the team. Your expertise in network hardware, including Cisco routers, switches, and Palo Alto firewalls, will be essential in executing your responsibilities effectively. Additionally, familiarity with network monitoring and management tools will aid in maintaining network reliability and performance. This position offers flexibility in working hours, primarily aligning with Eastern Standard Time (EST), but may require late evening shifts depending on project needs.

  • Experience with network hardware (Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Palo Alto firewalls)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
