About the position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to support the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system aimed at enhancing maritime domain awareness in Northern Africa. The role involves working as part of a system integration team, focusing on the design and support of complex maritime surveillance networks, while also providing on-site support in Northern Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and supports LAN/WAN networks for complex maritime surveillance systems.
  • Develops, maintains, and documents network system and service configurations.
  • Documents and troubleshoots network and system issues.
  • Creates and maintains network diagrams and documentation.
  • Tests and evaluates network systems and services to reduce problems and make improvements.
  • Provides on-site network engineering installation, operations, and reach-back support in Northern Africa.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • CCNA or higher Cisco professional certification.
  • 5 years experience with Cisco routing and switching design and configuration.
  • 3 years experience deploying and managing encryption devices.
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with network management and monitoring toolsets such as NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds, etc.
  • Familiar with Windows server configuration and operation.
  • Experience maintaining network baseline configurations.
  • Familiarity with Classified Computing and Information Assurance best practices.
  • Possess Cisco CCNP or CISSP equivalent industry certification.
