About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Network Administrator to join a small, agile team providing on-site FSET support in Pearl City, Hawaii. The role involves managing and maintaining network systems essential for Combat Command exercises and operations, ensuring optimal performance of tactical enclave domains, and supporting various deployment sites within the Combat Command's Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Requirements

• Bachelors and five (5) years' experience; Masters and three (3) years' experience; four (4) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience with configuration and troubleshooting of routing, routing protocols, ACLs, firmware upgrades, DHCP.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot networks, firewalls, and connectivity.
• Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of VoIP; CUCM a plus.
• 90 days from start to obtain a CCNA certification.
• Security+ certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, VoIP telephones, VTC, and INE devices.
• Configure, patch and apply DISA STIG to all Layer 2 and Layer 3 network services.
• Ensure all tactical enclave domains are performing at maximum capability.
• Manage all network resources to avoid outages and downtime, including backups.
• Serve as SME for deployment of tactical enclaves for exercises or contingency environments.
• Full time operational deployment, setup and pack-up, and system operation and maintenance, including preventative maintenance.
• Create Request for Maintenance Assistance (RMA).

Benefits

• Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
