TEKsystems is partnering with a large, local company to fulfill multiple Network Engineer needs. The client is seeking experienced engineers with a senior level of expertise in Cisco switching and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This position is part of a temporary project, but there is potential for an extended duration for the right candidates. This opportunity allows individuals to leverage their existing skills while gaining valuable experience in a large corporate environment, which can be a significant boost to their professional development. Candidates will be expected to have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Cisco ISE based solutions. This includes troubleshooting and configuring port authentication using 802.1x with certificates, as well as MAC authentication bypass configuration and troubleshooting. Additionally, the role involves ISE policy creation and troubleshooting, utilizing TACACS with ISE for switch login authentication, and performing ISE patching. The position also requires proficiency in Cisco Catalyst switch configuration and troubleshooting, including Meraki and Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) based wireless configuration and troubleshooting. Engineers will need to manage access port configurations, which include VLANs, trunking, 802.1x, and MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB). Familiarity with EIGRP routing, troubleshooting both onsite and remote issues, and performing Catalyst and Nexus switch upgrades is essential. Experience with SDWAN, particularly Velocloud, and managing internet circuits will also be beneficial for this role.
