About the position

The Network Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of the company's network infrastructure, which is hosted in both a local Phoenix datacenter and remotely. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability and reliability of the network, involving network monitoring, maintenance, and heavy troubleshooting. Occasional on-site visits to the datacenter may be required for physical changes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of the network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot network issues to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct maintenance as needed.
  • Occasionally visit the datacenter for physical changes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant Network Engineering experience.
  • Senior level experience in switching and routing, preferably with Cisco or Juniper products.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols, LAN/WAN, DHCP/DNS, and virtualization.
  • Experience with networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and vendor networking operating systems like NX-OS, IOS-XE, and JUNOS.
  • CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification required.
  • Firewall experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Any cloud networking experience would be a plus.
