About the position

Zito Media is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the delivery of a highly-available and fault-tolerant network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in deploying, maintaining, and configuring Juniper MX, EX, and SRX Series routers and switches, as well as network security solutions tailored for a service provider environment. In this role, the Network Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, configuration, and enforcement of network policies to ensure optimal performance and security. The successful candidate will work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement network solutions that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to industry best practices. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network reliability and security. The Network Engineer will also be involved in troubleshooting network issues, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring that all network components are functioning correctly. This role is essential for supporting the overall mission of Zito Media to provide exceptional service to our customers through a robust and secure network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Juniper MX/EX/SRX Series routers and switches.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure high availability.
• Analyze and enforce network policies to optimize performance and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on network equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

Requirements

• Experience with deploying and configuring Juniper MX/EX/SRX Series routers and switches.
• Strong knowledge of network security solutions in a service provider environment.
• Proven ability to analyze and enforce network policies.
• Experience in troubleshooting network issues effectively.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in Juniper networking technologies (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS).
