About the position

The Network Engineer will provide expert Route & Switch Engineering support, focusing on the deployment and optimization of Software-Defined Access (SDA) and SDWAN technologies. This role involves integrating wireless technologies and Identity Services Engine (ISE) to ensure seamless network management, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality support in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Route & Switch engineering support to ensure the optimized deployment of SDA and SDWAN technologies.
• Integrate wireless technologies and ISE to offer comprehensive network solutions.
• Plan, deploy, and implement SDA/SDWAN as a central management platform for network automation.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and leadership to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot and support day-to-day network operations, handling moves, adds, changes, and resolving complex issues.
• Ensure operational excellence by aligning network infrastructure with the organization’s needs.
• Act as a technical advisor to network teams, sharing operational values and leading network optimization efforts.
• Engage in enterprise network planning, design, and implementation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Routing & Switching, LAN Switching, and Layer 2 troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDA, SDWAN, and network management platforms.
• Solid understanding of Wireless LAN controllers and RF Design/WLAN implementation.
• Certifications in networking technologies (e.g., CCIE) are highly desirable.
• Experience in network planning, design, and implementation is a plus.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with leadership teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Secure Access (ISE), Infrastructure Management, and Automation and Security solutions is a plus.
