About the position

The Network Engineer at Arcarithm will play a crucial role in supporting the C2BMC Program by planning, deploying, integrating, and testing network upgrades at operational sites. This position requires collaboration in a dynamic environment, with responsibilities that include troubleshooting and providing updates to program personnel. The role demands a strong technical background in network design and security, along with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the C2BMC Program as a primary Network Engineer.
  • Plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network at operational sites.
  • Travel to remote locations for network installations and troubleshooting.
  • Provide status updates to Program personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required; Top Secret is desired.
  • IAT-Level II 8570 Compliant Certification (e.g., Security +, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
  • Five years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or three years with a Master's Degree.
  • Knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
  • Network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
  • Knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
  • Knowledge of multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
  • Effective communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
