Responsibilities

  • Implement network automation strategies using tools like Ansible.
  • Conduct network traffic analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

  • Maintain and optimize multi-vendor routing and switching environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
  • Hands-on experience with network design, development, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of multi-vendor routing and switching (Juniper and Cisco).
  • Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with network automation (Ansible) is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with various virtualization technologies, including cloud-related technologies.
  • Experience in network traffic analysis and diagnostic skills.
