About the position

The Network ESOL Manager at BridgePrep Academy is responsible for overseeing the identification, placement, and instructional support for students enrolled in the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program across multiple locations. This role ensures compliance with state and district procedures, generates accountability systems for progress monitoring, and provides support to school-based ESOL Coordinators. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the educational experience of ELL students.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and district procedures for ELL student eligibility and placement.
• Generate and monitor error reports for ESOL compliance and FTE Survey Windows.
• Compile and utilize student data to assist multidisciplinary teams in problem solving for ELL students.
• Generate accountability systems to evaluate progress monitoring data of ESOL students.
• Develop a referral process for support requests from teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Assist school campuses with state and school-based assessment protocols.
• Provide support and technical assistance to school-based ESOL Coordinators in developing ELL Plans.
• Facilitate ELL Committee Meetings as necessary.
• Maintain accurate student records in compliance with FERPA requirements.
• Review current developments and literature related to ESOL responsibilities.
• Participate in professional development to stay updated on trends in serving ESOL students.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and procedures on campus and during transit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• ESOL Certification
• Bilingual skills
• Three or more years of teaching or leadership experience
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
• Knowledge of the referral, evaluation, and placement process.
