About the position

The Network Evaluator III position at Black Eagle Defense involves evaluating operational and developmental networks and systems for U.S. government and military customers. The role focuses on identifying weaknesses and vulnerabilities to network attacks, advising on countermeasures, and producing detailed evaluation reports. The successful candidate will engage with customers to brief them on findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational or developmental networks and systems for weaknesses and susceptibility to network attacks.
• Advise customers on countermeasures, including configuration of commercial products or hardware/software additions.
• Produce evaluation reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Brief customers on evaluation results and suggested improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in security domains such as cyber security, network security, information systems security, and information assurance.
• Experience with programming, systems architecture, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, malware analysis, and network analysis.
