About the position

This position involves managing a team of highly technical network engineers focused on new site network configuration and deployment, hardware refresh for End of Life Infrastructure, and wireless network design/implementation. The role requires an expert-level understanding of Cisco routing and switching, enterprise-level wireless network solutions, and complex network troubleshooting. Strong documentation, record-keeping, and auditing skills are essential.

• Identifying and holding accountable vendors in support of system updates and maintenance
• Design, consulting and project support (10%)
• Implementation, testing and build out (80%)
• Tier 4 escalation (10%)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Applications development, applications analysis or systems engineering
• High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Applications development, applications analysis or systems engineering
• Cisco Edge Layer 2/3 devices
• WAN and edge routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRF)
• Enterprise wireless
• SD-WAN
• Multi carrier circuit management (MPLS, direct internet, broadband, cellular)
• GRE and IPSec Tunneling
• Demonstrated large network deployment project experience
